1581. WTH moment : 2 of each PI Advanced Commodities for sale in Jita *now* - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Because they're in damage control mode and not really thinking, not that thinking is their strong suit, considering the state of the last two expansions. They froze stuff so they could have their weekend break, and will resume scratching their hea...

So you're saying you removed the option and you'll fix the UI SoonTM, right? Right. You guys are a joke.

Originally by: Akita T They shouldn't have needed almost 3 days to make the first step, they should have made ALL the changes they would eventually make within hours, or one day maximum. They need time to code and bugtest whatever t...

1584. What are "rental agreements"? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Paid access to 0.0 space. The majority of alliances out there have a NBSI security policy: kill all intruders. If, as a corporation or alliance, you pay rent, they will set you blue and let you occupy some border space; you get access to 0.0 to r...

1585. NPC-purchased POS stuff reprocessing EVIL OPPORTUNITY - in Market Discussions [original thread]
No, but, I mean, do you expect a dev-person to go through each commodity and manually set a limit? There's thousands of them. Because otherwise any sort of moving average formula can be meta-gamed by players. You have the benefit of hindsight, kn...

1586. NPC-purchased POS stuff reprocessing EVIL OPPORTUNITY - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Panjho There should be a volume cutoff which halts NPC trades when the volume traded in a region exceeds the normal volume by a factor of 10x. How exactly do they calculate or decide what's "normal" volume? How does tha...

1587. New Player's Plan - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Merouk Baas on 29/05/2010 00:50:39 You'll need a few minor skills right away (before the learning skills, I'd say) to be able to fly frigates at least passably, and some of these don't come as part of the starter skill package, so y...

The 1.08 number means they're unscannable to someone with 108 scan strength, so if they're set up for that, you're SOL.

1591. WTH moment : 2 of each PI Advanced Commodities for sale in Jita *now* - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Look, CCP is not panicking, and whatever action they take with this, they seem to want to go through the normal approval process with it (which takes a while). So, honestly, I really really doubt that their reaction will be FU exploiters , especi...

They won't destroy your stocks or disable reprocessing. Like I said in my previous post, nicely being ignored on page 7 by everyone, heh, what they will do is add more materials to the PI production streams, so that planet miners can still get mat...

1593. WTH moment : 2 of each PI Advanced Commodities for sale in Jita *now* - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Actually, CCP can fix this without changing anyone's stock OR the ability to reprocess OR the NPC sell orders. It's very simple: they just add bias to the manufacturing process, in the form of consummables that must be used to manufacture, which y...

1594. Solo POS? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
There's a skill in the Science category that lets you use multiple lab slots. Laboratory Management? I think. As far as war decs, they can't bring capitals in high-sec, and battleships go down pretty fast if you use POS gunner(s) to focus-fire th...

1595. Solo POS? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Setting up a POS is like fitting a ship, really. Add up the grid and CPU requirements for the 3 research lab modules, see what size/race tower will fit that, and you'll get an idea of the cost of buying the stuff. Then the tower has listed FUEL t...

1596. Returning player questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nod, you don't need 20 billion, and it's actually quite easy to make "meaningful amounts of ISK" for newbies and lowbies (f.ex. couple hundred million to afford a battleship). You ARE, however, potentially competing in trade with the 20 billion g...

1597. My Position: Mineral "Basket" Price Goes Up, WAY Up - in Market Discussions [original thread]

1599. Two part question - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
6300 members in a corp, max. As far as an alliance, there's a cost of 2 million / month / member-corp to maintain the alliance, so, I mean, 150 corps in the alliance would cost 300 mil / month, which starts to approach the cost of a plex, so yo...

1600. Two part question - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For 1, look at the Corporation Management skills; the CEO must have enough skills to actually fit all the members, and you can easily add up the numbers and figure out the total for maxed skills. For 2, I am not sure.
